hello,
i got the duron 600 when it first came out and got lucky, i can run it at about 1060mhz with a poopy(edit) watercooler setup. 900 default voltage and it was already unlocked.

but now i need to buy a computer for my sister so i was thinking of giving her mine and getting a new cpu for my abit kt7. i haven't been keeping up to date on all the new processors and their overclocking prospects. what are the current best bets?

how about a 1.2? i would like to get at least a 100 or so more overclocking or i'll probably just stay with my setup now. any other suggestions. i assume i need to stick with a 200 bus. is it worth going to pc150 ram??

also, if anyone is interested in my chip, throw me an offer. i hate to see it only go 600 in my sisters(cause it can't overclock in hers)

thanks for all the help.

Well if price is a concern, you can get a Tbird 1.1 200 FSB for about 85 bucks from Pricewatch.com. As far as ram for your kt7, the mobo itself supports pc133, which is very cheap. I saw an ad for 1 gig for $70 on pricewatch.
