New CPU fan connector different than Dell

I am adding a CPU to my PC and the CPU fan has a standard Molex 3 pin connector. The Dell PE 1600SC PC is using a different 3 pin connector. How can I get an adapter or a connector to work with the Dell? It appears that this a problem wiht many Dell computers using a non-standard fan connector.

You could get a convertor to a 4 pin Molex, but the system may not boot without a fan on the CPU header. If you can solder cut the connector off the old fan and solder it onto the new fan's wires.

I have found the Molex part number which is 50-57-9403. I wonder how hard it is to remove the existing connector and connect the wires into this connector?

The Intel fan uses a fairly standard Molex connector with the black wire ground, yellow wire +12V and the green wire is for the tachometer.

Dell uses Black for ground, red for +12V and white for tachometer.

Note that the order of the wires is different.
