New CPU and OLD MOTHERBOARD. Will this boot up?

I'm ready now to buy ASUS A8N-E and Venice or San Diego. Do you think the mobo will be able to boot up for me to update the bios?

I had the same question. I ended up not getting the venice because I wasn't sure. In the main thread someone mentions being able to boot up witha san diego.

How? Flashing the mobo when the cpu is already installed is my question. I have no spare cpu that's why i want to know if i will be able to post so i can flash the bios.
