I have an Asus TUCL2-C motherboard and I want to buy a new processor. Can anyone tell me what could be the fastest processor I can use for this mobo. Is it the Celeron 1.8Mhz or the Pentium III 1.2Mhz? Which one would be better for gaming? Can I fit a pentium 4 cpu onto my Asus mobo?

I am also interested in getting a geforce 4 card. Is it better to buy the latest ATI Radeon card or a Geforce 4 TI4200 series?

Socket 370 for FC-PGA2 Intel® Pentium III® and Celeron® processors
no support for pentium 4 either
no support for 1.8 celerons
but it supports a 1.4 tulatin according to the specs fc-pga fc-pga2 are both supported

both the ati radeon 9700 and the nvidia ti4600 are great cards but for the best id get a 9700
which should be out shortly but again this depends if you want a 400.00 card;)

if you are on a budget the nvidia ti4200 is also good

hope this helps
