new cooling solution

Ok the stepping for my opty is in my sig, but i decided not to overclock and to go with a water cooling setup. Under the overclock section i'm having a problem cooling my new opty. I have another opty 165, but runs considerable cooler than this one. My other opty is a 0607, and the one that runs really hot is a 0608.

I just recently tried to give my cpu a little bump in speed to 250x9=2.25ghz, and my idle temps are 35-38c, and load temps, well.... i stopped prime95 after 30secs because my temps already were hitting 48c. Stock the load is 45c.

I think i'm going to need a water cooled system so i can get this chip to the speeds i want. But first i'm going to need a new case because theres no way in hell my antec p180 is going to allow this, and two i need to know what to look for in making a cool and quiet liquid cooling system. I know very little about how to make a liquid cooling system, but hey theres a first for everything.

A case i really feel would do the job due to its size and layout would be this case:

Its not my heatsink mounting job thats causing these high temps, i've remounted the heatsink 4 times so far and have gotten the same results.

If your interested in water put it in the title of your thread. So the WC guys see it 😉
