Yup, just another riff on the Wavemaster tune... But it has a good cooling design, plenty of drive space, not too ugly, etc. Some here will WANT! it, NEED! it, have to HAVE! it... (apologies to "Miss Congeniality")

Looks like a revision of the Wavemaster but with 120 mm fans. Now that I see the light, I want one.

EDIT: I'm liking the top IO panel. Me stabbing two USB thumb drives into it seems like fun.

I was looking for a case with these specs.

ATX case. (not inverted for heat pipe cooling)
Used two 120mm fans. (sound and cooling)
Had a metal door with a strong design. (sound)
Steel or aluminium with a durable black finish. (perferably brushed)
Audio and USB ports accessible on outside of case near the top.
No side window.
Priced under $200

Well believe it or not this is one of the few cases that fits all of these requirements, and I have seriously looked around. Lian-Li cases came close but were inverted ATX. Silverstones were too pricy or inverted ATX. Other Coolermasters used 80mm fans, and the Tsunami was too flimsy. I also serioulsy considered the Gigabyte 3DAurora but TBH it was a bit too flashy for me.

This case looks great in black and its nice that you can configure the door so that the waves on the front of the case all line up and still choose which side the door opens on. I've been waiting to buy this case for a few months now and can't wait to purchase it. The cooling with 120mm fans looks much better than the old Wavemaster, but I'll be using Nexus fans decoupled from the chassis. I also like the hardrive cage that opens on the side but I hope it is removable so I can suspend my hardrive or atleast decouple the cage from the chassis.

I hope Newegg carries it in black by the end of May so I can start my new build.

I really like the new Lian Li PC-S80-B

It is the only other case that really fits my needs except the price. This is really a tough call because I know these are both great cases, but I think the Cooler Master Mystique is a better value. I'd like to stretch my budget to fit the PC-S80-B for $260, but I just can't get over the fact you could buy the CoolerMaster Mystique with a SeaSonic S12-500 ATX12V 500W for $228.

With the money left over you could suspend the hardrives, buy sound absorption material, and replace the stock fans with Scythe, Nexus, Panaflo, or Yate-Loons. The Lian Li cases are so nice its still a tough call though. I can tell already it's going to be hard to stick to my budget on this build.

Wow, looks nice; except for the price of course.

You should probably start a thread for this.
