New Conroe system won't POST

I put together my new system, E6600, Corsair XMS DDR2 800, Gigabyte DS3, X1800XT... and it will power up, but will not POST. I get no output from the video card, I hear no beeps from the system speaker... however, the fans spin, and the DVD drive LED is lit up (and stays lit). It's bizarre, the fan on the vid card spins instantly when the power is turned on, however the CPU fan takes a full 5 seconds before it starts. I thought it might be a power supply issue, however it is a brand new True Power 2.0 550 Watt... should have more than enough juice.

I've already reset the CMOS, reseated the RAM, removed power to all my drives, removed all PCI, PCI-E cards (including video) and still have the same issue...

Anyone have any suggestions?

Does your computer stay on (everything stays spinning)? Or does it cycle start, stop, start stop.

I have the exact same build with the exception of a 7900GT KO. It ran fine Friday night when I built it. Then yesterday morning I woke up and the computer would turn on, CPU wouldn't spin, but it'd start and then the system would shut down. Never posted or beeped.

I tried pulling everything and couldn't figure it out. I then pulled the 4 pin ATX power cable and the computer booted. I switched out the Power Supply (Enermax 465) and placed a 450 watt generic I had in my sons computer. It booted up and it's running fine now.

I ordered a NeoHE 550watt that will be here by Wed.

Try another PSU if you have the same symptoms.
