New configuration

Hi, i have, after a lot of deliberation, come upon this configuration. please make any suggestions that you may feel necessary.

Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz E8400

Palit HD 4850 512MB DDR3 256Bit Sonic

Asus P5Q Intel P45 chipset 1600 FSB

Corsair DDR 2 TWIN2X2048-6400 (2 X 1GB DDR2 800MhZ C5)

Seagate Sata 2 500 GB (32 MB Buffer)

Lite - On Lite-On 20X Sata

CoolerMaster RC590 Centurion 590

CoolerMaster RP-600-PCAR Extreme Power 600W

ThermalRight Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme


this PC will be used for gaming. please make any suggestions that you may feel necessary.

1)Also, please suggest a good mobo for 9800GTX+.

2) should i go for Core2 duo 8400 or Q6600?????

3) should i go for OCZ Value series or Platinum series.

4) RAM 2GB or 4GB?

5)is the PSU ok?

Get 2x2GB of RAM. E8400 makes more sense for gaming.

Get the Samsung 22x burner

Get the 640 GB WD hard drives

there should be heatsinks that are cheaper that perform better or nearly as well as the thermalright.
