New computers for the wife and I - Q6600 suggestions please

Interested in opinions on these, I haven't built a computer since 2002 and am looking to get a reasonably priced upgrade for my wife and I that will last until nehalem. I'm not really interested in waiting for penryn atm as we're running aging 478 P4s with agp and no dual channel ( 😱 ) and I figure the Q6600 should last.

These will be paired with an 7800GTX OC and X1600XT until I can manage 2x8800GTSw/640mb. SATA HDs/Optical Drives will be pulled from old computers, and I believe my computer has an Antec Truepower 430w(too little?) and a 500w in my wife's computer.

Hoping to achieve 3.0 at least on both.

Anyways I'm looking for suggestions on alternative parts for cheaper or if there is anything I should steer clear of, and whether the prices are OK, I'm kinda looking for one place where I can get it all so these are from the Egg.

I tried to read some prior posts to get a good idea of what I should get so hopefully it is all decent.

Edit: Forgot usage, we both use the computers to play games mostly, second would be for photo editing/multimedia(including fraps) and finally general stuff such as office.

Prices in bold are for two, under that is the price per each in italic.

You're going to do some very HEAVY oc-ing? I would rather go with 4x 1gb for 150$ or 300$ total in your case, then spend 220$ on 2x2gb. I haven't heard people complain about oc-ing with 4x1gb so it should be fine. Unless you're aiming for 4ghz on those q6600's. If you need the wifi then go with the p5k-e, but could save some money by buying the p5k vanilla or p5k-se for 130$ respectively 100$.

You're holding out on videocards, but those videocards you mentioned are AGP? As for the PSU, I would get rid of the truepower and replace it with something decent, like a corsair 450vx or antec earthwatts 500w. Should be able to find a good deal on the antec earthwatts 500w for 50-60$ or so.

I will OC as high as they can go with the 120 extreme, can it go 4.0 without alternate cooling?

I definitely want to pick up the -e for the wireless, and as for the video cards they're PCI-e, I'm getting em 2nd hand from some friends as leftovers.

I'll definitely look into another psu.
