I'm in the process of building a new computer, I would like any suggestions/comments on the parts I've picked so far.

Abit KT7 Slot A
AMD Duron 800
KDS 17inch Monitor
PC133 CAS3 - 256MB
Maxtor 15.2GB EIDE
Creative Labs Geforce Annihilator Pro 32mb DDR

Thanks for the help.

ditto with Shu8, go for the MSI. If you're into oc'ing.. get the Duron 700 and oc it instead (u save more $$$ that way.. plus it oc's better than the 800 at this range)

for your hdd, get the Quantum AS series.. u can get it for around $109 shipped from Buy.com (After coupon and Mail in rebate - check out the Hot deals forum for more info)

i think you should go w/ the 45gb ibm 75gxp from buy.com using a coupon for $140. you can probably get the 30gb for 10-15 bucks cheaper?

edit: the ibm is 7200rpm and ata/100. it's very reliable, quiet, and fast. make sure you don't get the oem version
