im thinking of building a new computer for a project i have to do and im not sure which types of componenets to buy. i know i want to spend 600 max for the computer (plus or minus some okay). it would be great if you could help me select the components. to help you out, heres what i know for sure
-Not intrested in hard-core gaming, but a multimedia computer (music, videos, presentations, and it would be nice to play to sims 2 without lagging)
- Athlon based CPU (since it cost less) but which one?
what motherboard, CPU, memory, video, audio cards, hard drive do you like/are they compatible?
how much storge do you think ill need? i want it to be fast and efficient as possible without going too much over 600.
one last thing - i want a dvd burner too, any suggestions? one that acutally writes fast and not oo expenisve.
