Thermal Paste Artic Silver II ($6 @ newegg)Link

Volcano II HSF ($8 @ newegg)Link

MSI Geforce2 Pro (outofstock at newegg, any suggestions where to get it, also i'm concerned if it is the best of the gf2 pro's, for 2d and 3d.)

Also I have a 250W powersupply that came with my AOPEN case, anybody know where or If i should get a 300 watt or better, i dont want to spend alot of money on a powersupply, yet i want it to be a stable system.

That all looks pretty good, people give the Epox 8K7A nothing but praise. For your video card, check out Pricewatch.com to see who has it in stock. As for a power supply recommendation, I prefer Antec's power supplies. They are quiet and reliable. An Antec 300W PS is just $37 on pricewatch, and you can probably get it even cheaper on ebay or on the FS/Trade board here at AT.

Just my 2 cents.

It'd be good to get a 300 watt PSU, but I have seen similar systems run on 250. You can try it and see if you have problems, and if so, get the higher PSU.

Okay, What are some of the problems that *might* occur using my 250 watt.

also can it be harmful, or can i just test it, then get a new one if i need to.

Also, I have a sound blaster live! value, will it work good with the motherboard, i heard people say it had issues or something .

I also heard somebody say that my Heat Sync/Fan isn't a good choice, please help.

Another comment, newegg's shipping starts adding up if you buy lots from them... wonder if there is another decent store? How many days does the fedex saver shipper send?

The newegg shipping for a lot of items was pretty reasonable in my opinion. I priced out an entire system at four different e-tailers and they had the second best shipping of the four. You might check here for a HSF and maybe the ASII would be cheaper there too. They ship quickly too. As an idea for a HSF, I like the Global Win FOP 32-1 which works very well and is inexpensive. I just checked and the ASII is $6.99 there, but if the HSF shipped with it it might not be too bad... Newegg's stock goes in and out all the time. I was ordering a system there one and something was out of stock so I put down to contact when the stock came in, and before I finished my order I had an e-mail saying the stock was in on that product and that was on a Saturday. Keep checking throughout the day. I almost forgot. The Newegg standard shipping takes about four working days. I ordered on Saturday and got it Thursday.

get a 300w psu. athlons are notorious for eating up power. also, stick with the volcano II and arctic silver II because they are both some of the best hsf/thermal compound you can buy. other than that, your system specs look top notch.

what hard drive, sound card, and cd-drives are you gonna have?
