Well, im building a new soon on my birthday which is not soon far away (May 1st), and im planning on getting an opteron. By the way i will be overclocking a lot with a good HS & F, is the 148 worth getting for oc'ing instead of the 146, or should i just go with the 146? This is what im planning to get, please make any suggestions as much as possible i wana hear them Thank you

honestly, come back in 3 months. there's going to be too much that changes from now til then. for example, that 7800gtx would not be what you should get in 3 months. that seagate drive you souldn't be getting (WD's 16mb cache drive is better). plus, m2 will be out so you're not even sure how that'll perform. if you do get m2, what'll happen to your ram? you need ddr2 ram for socket m2.

jup, wait, unless you have no choice (like run on a geforce 4 card while your a heavy gamer.)

but dont wait anything more then 3 months... well lets put it this way, re-evaluate your waiting period after Cebit, which is from the 9th till the 15th of march. after that the G71 should be out, more info on AM2 will be around and opteron prices should have been cut a little more.
