Hi im pretty much a noob when it comes to putting computers together and heres a link of what am going to be purchasing and putting together myself. https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.asp?ID=4500426

I was wondering about some of the OEM items that i am purchasing, such as the hard drive. Some of the reviews say that since its OEM, the SATA cable doesnt come with it and you have to buy it seperately, do I? Does it come with the motherboard or something?

A retail box motherboard comes with SATA cables (and IDE if it has IDE ports). Look at the pictures for items to see what's included.

Buying a CD burner, newegg usually has a bare drive, and for about $10 more a drive that includes a CD with either Nero Express or Roxio burning software. This is worth getting unless you already have software. Again, look at the pictures to see what's included.
