New computer powers on then off. help

Just got FedEx 1.5 hours ago and now the computer is all assembled and ready to go but when I turn it on it powers for about 5-7 seconds then shuts down. I?m thinking that it is something with the power switch not the power supply because this only happens when I turn the power supply on. I can not use the power switch, but I've been moving it all around in different configurations and nothing yet. The connector that says "DC SW" would be to the power button, correct. Any help would be great this community is very knowledgeable.
