Hello everyone. I'm buying a new computer next week and I'm having some doubts on some components. Here's my current setup:

POWER: LC POWER TITAN 560W

CPU: AMD 4600+ X2 AM2 ( 2400 MHz )

Motherboard: ASUS M2N32SLI Deluxe, Socket AM2 AMD, NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP

Memory: GSKILL 2x1GB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 NR Series.
Not sure about the brand (the CPU works at 2400 MHz so I believe that I can take full advantage of the DDR2-800, please correct me if I'm wrong).

VGA: eVGA NVIDIA 7900GT SUPERCLOCKED 550 / 600 MHz 256MB

HDD: Western Digital 320GB SATA II 16MB Cache 3200KS

CASE: AEROCOOL MASSTIGE-A (looking into the top fan, not sure if it's included)

That's about what I'm thinking of buying. If you have an opinion about this system, suggestions for better performance, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread.

Many thanks in advance!

Will a 400W PSU be enough for a possible SLI expansion in the future? If not, what do you recommend? Thanks.

You won't be getting SLI for that.

G80 is due out before the end of the year, at which point the idea of upgrading to SLI will be uneconomical.

Now, since SLI isn't needed, why are you wasting that much money on a motherboard? You can shave off $100 the budget right there. If you're planning to overclock at all then even the cheapest C2D with a Gigabyte P965 DS3 will thrash that 4600X2 like a Ginger submissive.

7900GT SLi? Yes. With SLi on the 7900GT your whole system might use 300W at peak loads. Considering that, that SilverStone is a great PSU, it will hold up fine.

I don't want Intel Bob, had bad experiences in the past... Would an Opteron 165 be better for overclocking? Also, does it have DDR2 support?

Thank you both.

EDIT: Been searching and I can't find the Silverstone PSU in my country (Portugal) :/

I hate Newegg because they only order to the US / Puerto Rico. None of the above are available here.

Haha, lets see...... can you just tell me some sites that ship to where you live? IE, ZZF, TD, eWiz, directron, etc.

Of the above, eWiz does ship here. In any case, which CPU / RAM will yield me better performance? The 4600+ with DDR 800 RAM or the Opteron 165 with DDR 400 ?

Ah, found that Sparkle power supply in the UK, got it for $40 including shipping =)

Going for the Non-SLI solution, 4600+ , DDR2-800. Question is, will the stock 7900GT overclock that much from stock? I mean, it's quite an increase for just a few more bucks.
