New computer, no sound =(

New comp and thats my mobo with integrated sound.

I check the drivers, says its all good. No ? or ! by them, says functioning properly.

When I go to CP, and I open up Sound and Audio Devices, it says -No Hardware Connected-


Any1 got a solution?

Go into your BIOS and make sure that onboard audio is enabled.

Just did, was enabled.

Are there any jumpers on the motherboard that have to be set to enable the onboard sound? What kind of motherboard is it anyway?

Did you install the chipset drivers? Sometimes the integrated sound won't even show up with a ? until you install the chipset drivers.
