Here is a new media computer I am building (that will sit in a conference room, play, powerpoint, videos, record t.v possibly, presentations, power a projector, 7.1 surround, and so on)

==============================

Additions: 7.1 Surround Creative Gigaworks

Thoughts:
The computer will really not be used for gaming, but when building such a nice computer it kills me to put in a 9800 Pro. What is the main benifit of getting an All in Wonder card (I know it comes with many media type options...video...audio...some software) but would I be better off getting a seperate card just for that, and maybe putting a bit more money into a graphics card?

Also:
Any good Nforce4 Mobo's on newegg? Trying to put the computer together a few days after new years so need to order soon.

Thanks again.

it will work. overkill on the RAM though i think. you can knock off a couple hundred by getting <<gasp>> cas 2.5 RAM. you will NEVER notice the difference unless you are going to try overclocking.

I was thinking of getting an ATI HDTV Wonder as well. Will that work ok with the All-In-Wonder Pro?

Since I am not overclocking, may switch over to a Asus.

Edit:

OK think I am going with the ASUS "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket 939 CPU -RETAIL

once again, since you are not overclocking that RAM is overkill. save money, get a gig of basic 3200 for $140

I'd add in an extra cooling method just for good measure...don't want all that expensive tech to fry up!!

Any recomendations?

Also should I go with the ASUS that I have set up right now, or the CHAINTECH NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra Chipset
