CPU: 1.33ghz AMD Athlon AXIA core
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7DX(R)
Heatsink: Volcano II (not going to OC)
Memory: Crucial 256 mb DDR
Video Card: ATI radeon 64mb DDR VIVO
Case: Antec SX-1030b
PSU: 300watt AMD approved
Fans: only two 80mm rear fans that came with the case
Hard Drive: IBM 40gb Deskstar 60GXP Ultra ATA/100 7200rpm
floppy drive: teac
DVD-drive: going to add later
CD-rom: soon

How does it look so far? Any advice or suggestions?

 
hey, it just hit me. Isn't weird that they would call a HS "Volcano"? A HS is suppose to cool and they name it after a mountain of burning lava... 🙂


Your system looks good. Why no DVD, and what sound card?
 
i recommend 1 case fan in front of the hard drive bay. its useful in keeping my 10k at warm levels.
 
i already bought the video card and it is sitting right next to me, what a beauty
I could have gotten a geforce 2 but i decided to go with this video card after extensive research.

The gigabyte boards already comes with a creative soundblaster onboard sound, but if money allows I will get a good PCI sound card.
