I have built a new computer today, and I just fired it up for the first time.

It's on right now but I don't see anything on my monitor. The monitor is on and everything, lights green, but there's just blackness.

I can hear the fans running so it shouldn't be their fault.

What should I do?

EDIT: specs: Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe, A64 3200+, Corsair 1024MB RAM, Asus Extreme GF6600GT PCIe.

Should I connect some sort of cable to the video card? I didn't see any such connector.

Antec TruePower 480W.

But it works now, what I gotta do is install a case fan or two, to get the temperature down (36C @ idle right now, too much) and find my boot disk so I can get rolling. :)

It turns out the monitor wasn't properly connected to the GeForce.
