Hey Guys,
I'm working on putting together a new computer with an eVGA 8800GT, Intel 2.4ghz 6600 Quad Core, and an ASUS P5E LGA 775 motherboard. The computer is going to have 6 SATA hard drives, and I was wondering if anyone had any input as to whether I should buy a raptor/small fast hard drive for my OS/programs/games, and then store my music/movie/picture back ups on the other 5 drives (strictly data storage), or else buy 6 of the same hard drives and keep the OS on one of them. I am going to have the storage drives all be 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F1's, and basically I can't decide if I should just install the OS on one of those to maximize the computer space I would have available (6 TB) or if I should buy a raptor specifically just to carry the OS/games/applications. The computer will be used for my everyday use, the occasional game playing, and my music/picture/document/movie back ups.
Thanks in advance,
Monster
