New Computer CPU clock problems

I just got a Athlon64 3000+, and a mobo and vid card. This weird thing is happening with my CPU. The bios reads that its running at 1.8ghz, which is what it should be running at. But CPU-Z and CoreCell both say 1000mhz. Windows says 1.8ghz as well. I'm not convinced by the preformance that it is 1.8ghz. The 3DMark2005 CPU tests run 0 frames a second, and the overall preformance is slow. The bios is set at 200mhz FSB at x5.0. I need some help.

Also, what should the PCI-E clock be set at? Its set at 100mhz now

th x5 you're seeing is probably your ldt multiplier and not your cpu multiplier. Disable cool n quiet and see what happens.

edit: originally had htt, should have been ldt, so I fixed it.

edit 2: sorry duvie, guess you responded as I was editing! 😉

That is the LDT multiplier..it currently only goes to 5x cause the max speed is 1000mhz...5x your HTT also known by many as fsb (though it is not necessarily that) which at stock is 200 equals 1000...then it is two wide for 2000mhz effectively...

Cpu multiplier for stock should 9x.....
