here's the setup

k8v/3400+
512mb 2-3-2 OCZ 3200
leadtek winfast tv-tuner
nec 2500A dvd burner
maxtor 160gb 8mb cache HD
i'm gonna stick some old vid card i found (3dfx something...pci has 8 ram chips on it....) until i get my 6800GT in...

so i want to get this thing up and running b4 that vid card comes so i'm ready for farcry and whatever else i have.

so i'm guessing boot from winXP cd....and install that, keep away from internet

what else do i need to keep in mind? flash bios is one, but i didn't buy a floppy drive...am i screwed? i have a jumpdrive, but i doubt that'll work
