New Computer Build, Would love advice!

Hi!

I'm intending to build a new computer and I have a few questions.
But first, a few points I was asked to answer:

1. I mostly play games with my computer, I rarely do other things.

2. My budget is approximately 10 000 Swedish Crowns (10 000 SEK =~ 1110 Euro =~ 1580 USD =~ 970 GBP =~ 1525 AUD)

3. I intend to buy everything from Sweden, as I happen to live in this country.

4. I do not have a particular brand preference.

5. I intend to keep my graphics card, which is an XFX ATi Radeon HD5870, and also my Soundcard, an ASUS Xonar D2X

6. I have read a few other threads, but I figured I'd like a more personal touch to my own questions, if possible.

7. I plan to dabble a bit in Overlocking, not much, mind you. I'm a newbie.

8. I plan on gaming at the 1680x1050 resolution, using a Samsung 22" screen

9. I intend to order and build it within the next 30 days.

This is the hardware I have planned:

CPU :
Intel Core i5 2500K ~ 1750 SEK - Inet

CPU Cooler:

Corsair H60 H20 Cooler ~ 630 SEK - Inet

Motherboard:
One of the following, this is where I could use some help.

ASUS P8P67 Pro ~ 1450 SEK - Inet
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P
MSI P67A-GD65
ASRock P67 Extreme 4

Memory:
Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2x4) 1600MHZ PC-12800 CL9 - 890 SEK - Inet

Graphics:
I already have a 5870, so I don't intend to buy a new one for this rig
I am however also taking tips on what to replace it with in my old rig.

PSU:
Corsair HX850W - 1350 SEK - Inet
I realize 850 is a bit overkill, but the price difference where I live is quite minor between 650-850, so, why not leave space for eventual upgrades or Crossfire?

Case:
Fractal Design Define R3 - 790 SEK - Inet

Storage:
OCZ Vertex 3 120 - 2400 SEK - Webhallen
320/500GB Games/whatever drive - Have this
1.5TB storage drive - I have this already.

OS:
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate(as I have it already)

Now, the questions I have are as follows:

The motherboard:
I have heard both good and bad things about the ASUS P8P67 boards and I really would like to know whether the boot/bluescreen etc. problems with these boards have been solved? I like ASUS and I've used their boards in previous builds.

If you wouldn't recommend the ASUS P8P67 boards, what would you recommend in approximately the same price range? Pros and Cons?

The main contenders would be: (judging by the Swedish market)

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P
MSI P67A-GD65
ASRock P67 Extreme 4

The other question is about the SSD:

What's the recommended deal for them?
Should I partition it into two bits, one for the System alone, one for the main 2-3 games that I want to vroom about?

Or should I leave the entire drive to the System?

Any answers appreciated!
I'm not the most techsavvy person, but I do know my way around a bit at least, so don't be afraid to make your reasoning complicated, I can always ask more questions 🙂

Oh, and, feel free to wake me up if it's a pile of crap. I don't take offence on the internet. I'd rather be told my build is junk than buy it and realise it later.

This exact same topic is also posted elsewhere, to try and get the largest amount of replies and helpful answers 😀

And damn, looking at Cytosin's planned rig, the only thing going through my head is how extremely more expensive it is to buy stuff where I live :/

Ah yes, of course, sorry.

They're all in Swedish, but I suppose you can work around that with google translate or just using Chrome.

http://www.inet.se/kategori/31/datorkomponenter
http://www.webhallen.com/hardvara/
http://www.komplett.se/k/kd.aspx?bn=10000

Also added where I currently plan to buy the parts from to the main post.
The reason for the currently buying everything from Inet.se is because shipping is free as long as I order the Case from there.
If I'd split things up and buy some parts from Komplett, I'd save 5 USD or so despite paying the additional shipping
( 29 SEK from Komplett, regardless of how many items or size/weight) this is negligible. I'd rather order it from one place for the sake of simplicity if the price doesn't differ more than 10-15 USD

Well, with a 1680x1050 screen, you're never going to need dual-GPUs, so we can save you quite a bit of money.

CPU: The i5 2500K is good
HSF: I don't like the Corsair tiny water coolers. They don't really do much better than the 237 kr Hyper 212+
Mobo: The GA-P67A-UD3-B3 will do everything that you need
RAM: This DDR3 1333 XMS3 will perform within 2% of the Vengeance and is significantly cheaper.
PSU: Waaay overkill. This 529 kr XFX 550W is more than enough for a single-GPU system
Case: The R3 is good
Storage: Good choices there, I would not use more than one partition on an SSD because you'll be really pressed for space if you don't size things perfectly
OS: I hope you got Ultimate for free! 😉 Nevertheless, it's a sunk cost at this point
