Hello all, i just build a computer myself and then ran Prime95 to stress test it. After 2 hours and 46 minutes it stops and says i have a "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5 expected less then 0.4 Hardware Failure detected. "
but after that the computer still runs fine though, computer doesnt crash
Then i ran prime95 again after a reboot. After about 7 initial passes if failed again. Then i ran it the 3rd time seems to pass the 7th pass and its on its 11th pass now. I used the Abit EQ monitor utility that came with the motherboard and right after i rebooted i saw cpu temp at around 46 C and when prime95 is running it goes to 52 C and inside the case it reports 33 C now it was around 25C before prime95 started.
So does this mean my machine is not stable and i need probably swap something out before it crashes on me later on?
this is what i have in the machine
Abit nf7-m
AMD 2400
2 X 256 centon memory
WD 80gig
liteon cdrw
the PSU came with the case and i think its 300-350W
thank you
Laura
