Hi,
I just built a new computer but it's not started. When I plugged in and turned on the power supply, a green light on the motherboard which indicated the computer is either in standby mode or soft power off. However, nothing happen when I pressed the power switch. The fans are not even running. I thought I'd the jumper backward, so I reversed it. Still, not booting. The PSU came with the case has a 20-pin connector whereas the motherboard has a 24-pin. But people said they have success with placing the 20-pinners in the 24-in connector by leaving the bottom 4-pins empty. Please help. Thank you.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (90 nm)
MB: ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe
Memory: PDP Systems/Patriot Dual Channel Kit 1GB(512X2) 2-2-2-5
VGA: Leadtek nVIDIA GeForce 6600GT PCI-Express
HD: Seagate 160 GB 7200 rpm SATA w/ NCQ
Case/PSU:Thermaltake VA3000 Dream Tower w/ 400W PSU
Thank you for any help,
Patrick.
