In addition, there's no way for us to come up with a priced list that will reflect prices three months in the future. Your best bet is to start doing research right now by reading the forums and sites like Anandtech and Xbitlabs, and then posting again when you're ready to buy.

Edit: And when you are ready to buy, it would be a good idea to answer the questions in Blain's thread that's stickied at the top of this forum.

In 2 months time, Intel and nVidia both are rumored to release 2 new products each, possibly more, along with typical price increase/decrease that occurs.

Just stay active in the forum, reading the threads that come in every day, reading the reviews that AnandTech and other sites post, then ask us again in May.

hmm well according to some sites age of conan comes out march 25. but ya i guess i should of waited to ask this question until i am ready to actually buy a computer. but i do have some general questions. besides the rumor of new video cards coming out soon, are there rumors of anything else coming out soon? and lets say i wanted to building the rig now would you guys be willing to put together a gamming one for $1500 with no keyboard, mouse, monitor, and speakers?

Since you are 2-3 months away from buying you do not do any service to yourself (except may be exercise in wishful thinking) by asking people to act as an Oracles.

Spend the time on the CPU, Mobo, Video, etc. forum to learn what is going on currently in general and when the time comes combine it with whatever would available then.

When the time comes, be sure to fill in the sticky at the top of General Hardware so we know what your needs and situation are.
