new comp! any suggestions?

according ot my calculations (from newegg/googlegear) i get around 850 w/o shipping/cabling
anybody know any better prices?
this comp will be mainly used for gaming and will be pairing it with a hitachi 16ms 17" LCD

Do you need a faster computer now? If not, wait. If you can't do the stuff you want, then buy it now.

I would get the Abit NF7-S Rev 1.2 motherboard. And *two* TwinMos 256MB PC3200 memory modules. Thermalright SK-7 heatsink ($20 at SVC).

If your current system isn't leaving you wanting more, then wait. If your current system is really lagging in performance, then there is very little reason to wait. The system looks good. If you want some suggestions on the configuration give us a better idea as to what the system will be used for.
