New Cloaking Scenario

I have a question about cloaking from a different perspective.

The universe has dark matter and dark energy (theories anyway) and I was thinking that perhaps there is some naturally occurring cloaking going on for some objects and/or regions. Maybe, it is there but we are using the wrong methods to view it.

Would an object that self-cloaks everything we know about--electromagnetic, gravitational attraction, etc.-- be non-existant from our frame of reference and would we be non-existant from theirs?
