Well someone at microsoft is doing there Homework big time take a look at this pic Cool, IF you notice there is a nice 40 or 50mm exhaust fan in back of the console. This system must have some pretty warm components in it.

I cant wait for all the PS2's and Xboxes to break from all the dust that will build up with the fans sucking/blowing air all around.

Some peoples computers/houses are nasty, just wait for these that will get shoved on the floor next to the TV.

I agree Gunbuster, my SNES never had an overheating problem! Hell, it didn't even have a fan in it for that matter! Ahhh...the good 'ole days.

Also, I notice that USB ports are conspicuously absent. Wasn't the X-Box supposed to come with those for hooking up other peripheral devices?

Maybe because they do not want you to buy other PC USB devices and use propriety USB devices for the Xbox.
