New Civic aftermarket tail lights?

Hi.. I was out last night and ended up following a late model Civic with a fart pipe and the wildest tail lights. The lights had 3 beams and when the guy would stop, the lights would flash and when the car was under way, one of the lamps would do this spinning thing. All the lamps seemed pretty dim by comparison to other cars on the road, but the spinning light kept it noticeable. Also, when the guy went to turn, both sides blinked, but the side in which he was turning blinked much faster.

Has anyone seen lights like this. Part of me thought that they were really cool looking, but the other part just screamed ricer. I think I would actually like them if the lamps didn't spin while the car is just driving. That seems a little too gimmicky to me. I did like the way that the lamps were positioned though and the overall way that the lamps looked.

Anyway. Just thought I'd mention this..

<< Do ricers ever get pulled over for such non-compliants lights?? Cops pull people over for burnt rear lamps as an excuse to pullover someone,which is lame, but I think it's a good cause to pull over someone with non-compliant lamps. Sounds like "DOT APPROVED" on rice accessories doesn't mean a jack >>



I think in places like L.A., cops would waste too much time pulling over all these cars....
