New cheap SSD for laptop

I soon get my new laptop and need a SSD to go with it.

I want a cheap OS drive, therefore probably excluding anything over ~100 GB (~150 USD).

I'm tempted to go for the C300 64 GB.

Are there any other <100 GB SSD new generation than the C400 (M4) coming SOON?

I read people are disappointed over the benchmarks currently posted of the C400 (actually worse than C300 on the numbers that matters). But since it's newer than C300 I find it weird it should be performing worse?

I've put the Intel 120Gb G2 in 2 different laptops. They have worked great. They have been as low as ~$180 recently. I understand that is a little out of your range and I can appreciate where you're coming from.

I hear good things on the C300, but have no experience with it.

Be cautious of the Sandforce based drives. Depending on your laptop's chipset, you may have issues. I have a corsair F120 sitting Idle now waiting for a desktop installation, I had to swap it with an Intel drive because of laptop compatibility issues.
