New cheap refurbed imac's

I found out lately that my mom when I'm away at college has been on my desktop. I'm happy that she's atleast trying to learn (really computer illiterate). I want to buy her a cheap imac. I feel it will be easier for her to learn and get around. I can also wirelessly backup the computer in case she does screw it up it wont hurt her at all. Not to mention the imac is space conscious (will be in the kitchen, she wont want to use alot of space there) and attractive. What I'm asking is have any of you guys seen some iMac G4's for around 300 dollars? I'm shopping for the chepeast refurbed imac I can find. I dont mind if its previous generations as long as its not the first generation imac. THanks.

I see them fairly often on craigslist. I got a friend an older CRT type imac (not space conserving) for around $80 at a computer show. Works ok for web browsing, but would not want to run Photoshop on it!
