New Charles Schwab 4.25% Interest Checking

hmmm... nope, don't think so. I think someone usually needs to HAVE a product themselves before they can refer it to others for rewards.... maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. Am I wrong?

How about MAYBE ... just MAYBE ... I want to know what people think of the account so I can decide if I want it.

Nah, that'd be too obvious.

I only keep enough in my checking for paying bills and pocket money, mortgage payment goes into another checking acct where it's auto-debited each month and savings goes elsewhere automatically with each direct deposit, so I've never really felt the need to have a high interest checking account. At least they refund ATM fees, they would be my biggest beef w using a non-local bank. I would still keep a few bucks w a local bank and use them for deposits then xfer to Schwab.

Here's the FW Finance thread on it: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/message...725817&highlight_key=y&keyword1=schwab

Agreed. I don't really care if I'm not earning any interest on my checking account; I barely have enough money in there to begin with, and I prefer being able to withdraw cash by just driving 1 mile to the bank.

I have an online savings account that yields about 4.25% APY.
