I have a brand new Chaintech 7VIF34 Mobo.
Setup the BIOS and saved it,then I loaded Windows 2000 Boot disks 1 ? 4 so as to begin the installation of windows 2000.
Once the boot disks were loaded the operating system indicated it couldn?t see any of the peripherals (hard drives, CD, DVD). This is strange because in the BIOS setup one step was to have the system scan for these peripherals to capture their details (which the system did). All of the peripheral information was captured, and displayed, by BIOS. The C: drive is brand new and is un-formatted, if that makes any difference.
Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong ?
