That phone is horrible and old...

You'd have to be insane to pay 200 for it when you can get a brand new better phone with WM05 for that or cheaper right now.

Why's it have to be a clamshell phone? I have a (bar) Cingular (HTC) 2125, and I love it.

It doesn't have to be, but I assumed if he was looking at the mpx220 he wanted a flip. If not, yes, there are plenty of better phones out there. I have the SX66 (PDA2K) and love it. I gave the Qtek 9100 (the upcoming Cingular 8125) a try but it was too slow while multitasking. Nice phone otherwise.

The MPx220 did have a lot of problems but firmware has fixed most of them. I've got one and really like it. My biggest problem is that you can't dial from a bluetooth headset. It's great for calendar, sync with outlook, even gaming and other programs but I think there are definetely better choices these days.
