New CDRW...

I heard good thing about Philips drives having no trouble writing protected CD's. I have a Plextor 8/4/32 drive right now and I want to upgrade. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks.

sanyo is coming out w/ 32x....thats like 2-3 minz a cd!!......and since sanyo is making them...plextor will probably use them....

if u dont want to wait..get a liteon 24x..i luv mine!

I don't know about Philip's drives over riding protected CD, but you can also do it with Clone CD or other copying software. Of course, you do it at your own risk. I'll say buy a fast CDRW and just use software to copy protected cd.
