New CD-RWs

Are there any decent SCSI CD-RWs left on the market? If not, what is the best IDE? I want at LEAST an 8MB buffer.

I have no idea about SCSI CD-RW, as I got out of the SCSI game a long time ago. No real benefit for me and far to costly vs IDE. Though perhaps Plextor has some SCSI drives out now.

Lite-On always makes quality drives in my experience. And Plextor is great for IDE as well.

Why do you want the 8MB buffer? It offers zero benefit if the drive has Burn-Proof or some other error protection scheme, most (dare I say, all) modern CD-RWs do have Burn-Proof or something else.

same reason I don't really want IDE, I don't trust it. I'd rather have raw horsepower rather than software tricks. Also, with my SCSI I've been able to record a CD and surf the web and check email and light photo/web editing all at the same time.
