Just got a new cd burner (Aopen 5232) installed it, it burns...shows up in BIOS, Device Manager (WinXP), but not in My Computer.

Any settings I might have messed up somewhere?

The new cdburner is Secondary Master, old burner is secondary slave.

EDIT:

AOpens site rocks. Try to go to the download section, and....

Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.

EDIT #2:

Asus's site (A7N8X motherboard) site doesnt have any updates.

EDIT #3:

Can not boot from Aopen, but can from 6 year old burner.

EDIT #4:

Downloaded Nvidia drivers. Now both drives are "discovered" by Windows as burners, then as Cd-roms, then disappear from my computer.

I had a similar problem with my Plextor burner when I installed a new Abit NF7 board. The problem was the board drivers. I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded the newest drivers. They cured the problem.

Bump.

EDIT:

Found a fix. Involved some registry stuff, and then un-reinstalling drivers.
