This seller is helping to really improve on the often difficult to understand 'technical' sone or dBA metric used to specify the potential noise level of a cooling fan when operating. I approve of this proposed rating system:

SuperRed CHD9212EB-AH 9038 9238 90mm 9cm 12V 1.30A violent fan

1.3A!!
No doubt left here. It communicates to the user, WARNING, this fan may kick your azz! :D

I figure that's in the category of "finger-chopper" fans, and to be careful around them.

Hey only ~5K RPM, still not as fast as those 6K RPM "Delta" fans that were popular with overclockers back in 2000 ~ 2004. e.g.

I sir challenge your challenge.

These are counter spin server pizza box fans.
Basically 2 40mm fans sandwitched together, where one counter spins.
Its a total of 1A.

But @ a nice quiet 72dB.

There is also this bad boy but its not really a PC fan....

Yeah there are faster spinning fans, but at 90mm and 38mm thick with 1.3A, this one is right at the threshold of being able to take off a small finger... depending on how sharp the blades are.

I'm glad we're past the era where (stock speed) consumer applications need fans spinning that fast... though I'm overlooking video cards.

Yes, I had a couple. Nicked a finger on one. So glad when Thermalright came out with their full copper finned HS that took an 80mm fan - this time I used finger guards still high RPM, but not like the damned screechingly high pitched 60s).

^ Those and the pin finned aphas with 80mm fan, were the era where I was finally able to keep fan speed below 2500RPM avg, while still overclocking. Granted, temperature became the o'c limit, but I didn't want to blow the mobos up and this was the socket A era when mobos were still notorious for blowing capacitors.
