I logged in last night and got a message that there wasn't a driver installed for my ATI 4350 (Yes I know it's a POS and I have a GTX 460 1GB on the way). All I can up with is that Windows had done an update a couple nights ago and it must have messed up the driver install somehow.

So, I saw that there was a new driver released. I installed the new driver and attempted to play DiRT2. The opening videos played fine, but as soon as it got in to 3D mode there were just large triangles all over the screen. I reinstalled DiRT2 thinking that the game had been corrupted somehow.

I'm going to go back to the old drivers this weekend. Hopefully that will fix this problem.

I can't wait for Christmas so I can install the 460 and see what this game is supposed to look like.

Okay, those drivers are a joke. Major screen corruption on the desktop. I am running 2 screens and those drivers force the clocks down to 157 / 300. It sounds good but this causes corruption with 2 screens for whatever reason. The 10.10s were running the card at 400 / 1150 at idle and all was fine. Back to 10.10 for me.

At first I was upset that the card needs to be clocked higher with 2 screens. Now I know why. There's no way around it it seems...

EDIT: And no MLAA either on my HD5850. One more reason to go back to the hacked drivers.

Tried em. Working fine w/ x64 Win 7 and 2 5770's. No major change in Fallout New Vegas. Release notes are a little wanting, not many changes to performance like 10.10.
