New case with a Fire wire port

I am thinking about a case that has a firewire port upfront. What would I hook that to? a video card, sound card, or my mother board? I havent got any of them yet, waiting to buy until I know what to do. Help please.

I'm thinking if it's a Firewire port then you'd need a Firewire (also known as IEEE 1394 or i.Link) card to connect it to. However, some SoundBlaster Audigy cards have a Firewire port on the back, so you might not need a Firewire card if you have one of those sound cards.
