New Case Suggestion? must have window

Hey guys. I've been running a CM 690 II Advanced for a while and love it. But the Push Pull setup with my H100 is pretty tight.

I was wondering what case I could get thats a Mid Tower, With a window and is relatively good on the cooling and silent factors.

I like something clean looking like the Lian-Li First Knight pc-9wx but that doesnt have the mounts for my H100. I was also thinking about the Corsair 650D but I've heard that the cooling on that particular case is not as good.

any suggestions?

TL😀R Need a new case that can support H100, is quiet, has decent airflow, must have a window, and must look neat.

The 500R is a lovely case but I don't think they've made a Windowed side panel for them. Think it's a DIY job.

You're right. I think getting a standard ATX style case with a window that fits an H100 and has exceptional air flow will be tough. The best airflow cases usually have a side fan or are of the SilverStone stack cool variety. The 650D is probably going to meet most of the OP's needs the best, although as mentioned the air flow isn't terrific.

Is the 650 as bad as they say?

I was thinking of cutting the honeycomb grill, and putting some AP-15's or Cougars on my H100 for venting if that would help

The 650 isn't bad, it's just not stellar. Basically, if you have a window on the side you won't have a fan, which means you're relying on fresh air from the front fan for your video card. However, the fan you're talking about on a 650D is a 200mm fan, so it should move a decent amount of air. To maximize the flow to your video card, you could remove the top hard drive cage.

NZXT Phantom. The stock case doesn't come with the window panel, but you can order one from the nzxt.com website for 25 bucks. Got mine some weeks ago, looks great and works great with the h100:

Cooler Master HAF X

I'll second that! If not too big for you, the Cooler Master HAF X looks great and has fantastic cooling with the 200 mm fans. Mine is actually inaudible in a normal room thanks to the 200 mm fan on the side which allows my graphics card (Powercolor Radeon HD6850) to be "passively cooled", that is avoiding smaller fans which make a lot of noise.
