New case, PSU, and watercooling stuff on the way. Question about draining.

A while back I gotmyself one of those XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 kits for my machine in an Antec 900 case, and it has been great so far. I did have to run one of the cables through a PCI slot I modded and one through the hose grommets on the back of the case to go into the radiator mounted to the back of the case.

I just ordered a new Corsair 800D, AX850, and a new radiator (going from the RS360 to an RX360), and was wondering how I should go about getting the water out of this loop before installing all the components in the new case.

I plan to mount the new radiator inside on the top of the 800d, but the way it is on my antec 900 right now I will have to cut the hoses off of the radiator to get everything out. Obviously I will want to remove all the components before I do this, but is there an easy way to do this without making a terrible mess?

Also, is there some prep I should do, since this will be the first time in 6 months or so since the loop has been drained, before re configuring the loop in the new case?

Thanks for any input.

Maybe try putting a cup under one of the Rad barbs, then drain from there? Ur hang that end off a counter and use a bucket.

I did not even think of using the bucket method, I will give that a try when I get all the components out of it this weekend. Thanks.
