- New Case Design -Thermaltake SwordM

I was researching new cases when I stumbled upon this new design from Thermaltake:

Seems very interesting. Anybody know anything at all about this case? What could the LCD be used for? Does Thermaltake make decent cases? How about where I can buy one? Thanks.

It has too many things going on. Get a simple case with no flashy LEDs/LCDs and just stick with it. For something that big, I'd just get a CM Stacker.

Looks like a variant on the TaiChi. You can see more by going to the US Tt site, to the full tower chassis page and click on the Sword's pic instead of choosing one of the intro buttons. There is a pic with the back cover (part of the reason for the size being even larger than the Tai Chi) open and closed.

As far as a place to buy one, just keep checking the price search engines such as Froogle (Froogle shows lots with the prices hovering around $500. - definitely won't live up to the expectations from a price like that). Just another ePeePee for those with wallets larger than their brains...

After further research and reflection I realize this case is ridiculous. I hope nobody buys this overpriced "epeepee" from looking at my thread. Thanks "RallyMaster" and "Zepper" for your input.

Thermaltake sells a bay accessory that includes a lighter and cup holder, but at that price, I agree that one should have been included...

I bet its a big sucker. Not a bad looking outside. Hood pops up too. I didnt see if it had fuel injection or an old style carborater though. I wonder if it comes with tail fins? :laugh:

the supra tail fin is a addon.
