New Card: Does a 6850 even make since?

I had E5200 that I oc to 3ghz.
I went from a AMD 4770 to the 6850; the gains were modest.

Putting the 6850 into my i5-2500k blew me away; I was severely CPU limited.

Overclocking wise, check your motherboard for jumpers to adjust the default FSB from 266 or 333 to 400. That should give you an instant and stable overclock to help out
