bought my first car in 10 years, replaced my trusty but getting slightly rusty 2000 focus, for a brand spanken new 2010 fusion 🙂 pictures to follow but this is how I optioned it out:

Nice color 🙂 My new Prius is the same. We could def. get untold levels of tail cruising the strip with those two rides.

anyway, congrats to the OP, i really dig the new fusion! i just wish it were a bit cheaper pricewise (you can almost hit 30 🙁)

their discounting the crap out of them atm. got mine for 22.3k (about 500 bucks under invoice) with 1.9% financing for 72mo (I know long term but interest was so low I was like whatever i'll pay extra and it gives me a little buffer just in case something happens down the road)

yah i've been wanting a car with this color forever. was searchin for a few weeks for a car with this option package and color and finally found one just as I was about to break down and get a black one

Great car! What trim level?
We've rented one for the last couple months, and I LOVE the redesigned dash and guages. As smooth as the entire fusion line has been, I probably wouldn't buy anything before a 2010 just because of how good the redesign was.

just got home so too dark for pics. but its just an SE with whats called the monochrome package. which gets you the body color grill, 18in rims and special cloth interior (big upgrade over stock, and only 900 bucks which is a steal considering the rims) also has sun and sync which gets you the moonroof (could take it or leave it but almost all in this trim have it) and sync (I about had a nerdgasum messing with on my 1.5 hour drive back from the dealer) no other real major options besides that. was going for just a nice basic ride that got good mileage yet still looked nice. and I think I got what I wanted. going to see if I can score some 16in steelies over the summer for some winter tires for next winter, because I really don't want to subject these wheels to michigan roads in the winter. and yeah I agree its just a refresh but the 2010 is a huge jump over the previous years. I drove quite a few 08s before I said f it and bought this because anything decent that was an 08 was 15-18k, and when you factor in the interest you pay on used vs new and the discounts I got on this car its costing me 30 bucks more a month to drive new with a warrenty.

if weather holds tommrow going to wash it and throw a coat of wax on it and post some pics 😀

ok got some quick pics (it is not picture weather here in michigan today) love the car so far, stereo is a bit of a step down from my last car, but thats to be expected since I did a aftermarket stereo and speakers with it. anyone have any experiance with the fusion? is possible to get preouts to add a sub?

Ooh, never knew the Fusion comes in body color grille. I actually like the Chrome grilles of the Fusion on some colors.
 
Was seriously considering getting a hybrid version but they killed all rebates on them for march. I'm not in a must be to replace though so still waiting to see how april and later goes as far as that.


BTW, anyone happen to have insider knowledge on the ford rebate cycle for upcoming months. 😉
