New to me anyway. It's a 2006 Acura TL. The thing is incredibly smooth to drive. The interior design is top notch. I'm really enjoying it so far. I can't say that I'm completely in love with it the way I was with my Mustang, but the Acura is a very good car. It has 15k miles, a navigation system, a kinda crappy Acura iPod connector that will have to be swapped out for a better one, all for $24k pre-tax.

Now I've gotta get the windows tinted, get some better wheels, and get that better iPod connector. I'll probably go with some nice BBS RGR diamond black 17x8 wheels to drop the unsprung weight a bit (17.2# vs. 25# stock).

Yes, I went with an automatic transmission, stop yer bitchin, I drive in heavy traffic daily...

Very nice, and imo manuals are way over rated. "OMG I can get from stoplight to stoplights a split sec faster!!!!11!!" Who really gives a crap, especially for a daily driver?

That car is solid, felt very good when I drove it.

The Acura nav is supposed to be one of the best too..

You're totally missing the point of a manual...

I dunno, I love MT's myself (own an 08 TSX with the 6speed). That being said, good choice on the auto, I can't imagine a heavy yet powerful car like the TL would benefit much from the manual (even in terms of driver enjoyment)...

If your reasoning for people wanting manuals has to do with how quickly they drive...then you've never driven manual for any extended period of time. The whole point of driving a manual transmission car is having more control over your car and its behaviors. This results in a more engaging, enjoyable experience. Does that mean everyone should want this? No...not everyone cares about how much they control the car or how engaging it is. To them a car is transport from point A to point B with possibly a bit more luxury to make that trip easier.
