Altima first, Accord trailing closely, Camry on its roof somewhere.

I'd normally put Honda first, but the Altimas are generally better handlers than their cheaper cars, and Accords keep getting squishier.
 
Sorry I havent responded in a while, just dealing with crap from insurance companies.
My car should be apprised sometime this week.

Anyway here is a list of all cars I have test driven so far. All models are 2013 and/or current generation.

Ford Focus/Focus ST
Ford Fusion SE
Honda Civic/Civic Si
Honda Accord Base
Nissan Sentra SR
Nissan Altima S
Subaru Impreza (Top Trim Lvl)
Subaru Legacy Base
Hyundai Elantra (Top Trim lvl)
Hyunda Sonata (Mid Trim)

By far the clear winner for me was the Nissan Altima. That 4cyl engine is no slouch by any means, the ride was nicer and quiter than anything else I had test driven and the interior was designed very well.

The 2013 Fusion was also very good, except I didnt like the Ford SYNC interface too much and you can control it from the steering wheel like with other models.

The 2013 Focus and Elantra were both very nice and rode nice for compact cars. Also plenty of room for a 6' tall guy like me 🙂

2013 Accord was a great car aswell, but I'm not too fond of the their looks since 2008.

I was less than impressed with the 2013 Civic. Interior could have been designed better, had lots of road noise and ride was rather bumpy. Granted it is a compact car, but it just doesnt seem on par with its competitors.

I really enjoyed test driving both Subarus, but the interior was a bit weak even at the higher trim levels.



I still might go try out a v6 Mustang for shits and giggles, but I think my choice has been made.

Test em all and see what YOU like, there are very few dogs in modern cars in terms of reliability or fuel economy, they all have to be competative

I'd suggest a VW Jetta as its a big compact
