How long does it usually take for your plates to come when you buy a new car? I bought a new car on July 19th and haven't received my plates yet. Does this sound odd? Anyone have any experience with this? By the way, I'm in California.
 
Took me 2 months, but I live in NJ and the dealer was in PA.

Just make sure you call the dealer to make sure they processed the paperwork.
 
that sounds pretty long to me, mine came in a week :Q

edit: nevermind, i thought it was a customized plate for a used car.
